Accounting Technician - Blenheim Based
Are you a recent graduate with a few years of accounting experience under your belt? Or are you looking for a change in the new year? Our client is seeking an Accounting Technician who will be responsible for all in-house financial requirements. This will include the preparation of monthly and annual reporting and budgeting, coordinating and compiling information for management reports and administrative support. Ultimately you will present all fiscal information required for the external Accountant for End of Year filing.
You will need to have an eye for detail, accounting experience working in similar role, preferably (2+ years), strong excel skills and the ability to manage time effectively. In addition, you will need a qualification in accounting, or working toward a further qualification, be an excellent communicator and have the ability to build good working relationships with other team members.
